Click "**Add extension**" to continue. **Step 3**: Click on the extension icon and pin Nintondo Wallet extension. You have successfully installed Nintondo wallet extension! --- ## **Firefox** **Step 1**: Visit the [Firefox Browser Add-ons Store](https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/nintondo-wallet/)[ ](https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/nintondo-wallet/)and click "**Add to Firefox**". **Step 2**: When prompted, click "**Add**". If you would like to use SubWallet in private windows, tick "**Run in Private Windows**". **Step 3**: You have successfully installed Nintondo wallet extension! # Create a master password Secure your wallet by creating a master password We always ask you to create a master password before you start working with us (for example, when you create a new account or import an existing account). We currently allow you to enter a random password from 1 to 70 characters. However, we recommend using a strong password of at least 8 characters long with at least 1 capital letter, 1 digit and 1 special character. Note, the password you create is tied to a single browser. The articles in this section: # Create a new wallet ### If you have not had any accounts with Nintondo Wallet **Step 1: **Open the Nintondo Wallet extension and choose "**Create New Wallet**". **Step: 2:** Create a strong [**password.**](https://docs.nintondo.io/docs/nintondo-services/nintondo-wallet-extension/getting-started/create-a-master-password) **Step 3: **Copy and save the backup phrases. This is important because you may lose access to your accounts and funds. **Step 3: **Confirm the save and click on the “Continue” button. **Step 4: **Select Chain and your wallet address type, click on the “Continue” button. Nintondo is non-custodial, so you will be the only person who knows your password; we can't help you restore it once it is lost. Make sure that your password is well-kept. ### If you are already using Nintondo Wallet **Step 1: **On the main screen, enter your wallet list. **Step 2: **On the wallet list page, click on the “Plus” button. **Step 3: **Repeat the same steps as in [the first case.](https://docs.nintondo.io/docs/nintondo-services/nintondo-wallet-extension/wallet-setup-options/create-a-new-wallet#if-you-have-not-had-any-accounts-with-nintondo-wallet) # Restore from private key ### If you have not had any accounts with Nintondo Wallet **Step 1: **Open the Nintondo Wallet extension, Click **“Import Wallet”** and Select **“Import Private Key“** **Step 2: **Create a strong [**password.**](https://docs.nintondo.io/docs/nintondo-services/nintondo-wallet-extension/getting-started/create-a-master-password) **Step 3: **In the “Private Key” field, enter a valid recovery key for your wallet or account. **Step 4: **Select Network and wallet address type, click on the “Import” button. Nintondo is non-custodial, so you will be the only person who knows your password; we can't help you restore it once it is lost. Next, choose "**Address Type**". **Step 3: **Choose your wallet address type by clicking on it. # Change network Switch between Testnet and Mainnet without leaving your wallet. **Step 1**: Open the Nintondo Wallet extension and click the gear (settings) button. **Step 2**: Click “Mainnet/Testnet“ button. # Switch between wallets & accounts ### **Switch between wallets** **Step 1**: Open the Nintondo Wallet extension and click on the account name to access the account selection tab. **Step 2**: In the wallet selection tab, choose the wallet and account you want to use. Accounts can only be managed in a wallet that has been imported using **mnemonic phrases**. # Change wallets & accounts name ### **Change your wallet name (**through settings) **Step 1**: Open the Nintondo Wallet extension and click the gear (settings) button. **Step 2**: Click “Wallet Preferencess“ button. **Step 3**: Click “Wallet name“ button. **Step 4**: Enter the desired name for your wallet in the input field. Maximum name length is 15. **Step 5**: Сlick "Save" button. ### **Change your account name (**through settings) **Step 1**: Open the Nintondo Wallet extension and click the gear (settings) button. **Step 2**: Click “Security & Pri" **Step 3:** Click “Account name“ button **Step 4**: Enter the desired name for your account in the input field. Maximum account name length is 15. # Export mnemonic & private key ### Export mnemonic **(**through settings) **Step 1**: Open the Nintondo Wallet extension and click the gear (settings) button. **Step 2**: Click “Wallet Preferencess“ button. **Step 3**: Click “Show Mnemonic“ button. **Step 4**: Enter you valid password and click “Continue“ button. **Step 5**: Copy you mnemonic. Please **save** and **keep** your backup files secure. Furthermore, you will need these backup files to restore your account in case you forget your Nintondo Wallet password. **Don't share** your seed phrase with anyone, including us. We don't store any of your backup information to ensure user privacy and security. ### Export private key **Step 1**: Open the Nintondo Wallet extension and click the gear (settings) button. **Step 2**: Click on the current name of your account **Step 3**: Click “Show private key“ **Step 4**: Enter you valid password and click “Continue“ button. **Step 5**: Copy you key. # Account management Let's tell you how to manage your Nintondo Wallet accounts. The articles in this section: # Change master password Increase the security of your accounts by regularly updating your master password. In order to change your password, you will need to remember the current password. **Step 1**: Open the Nintondo Wallet extension and click the gear (settings) button. **Step 2**: In the Settings section, select "**Security & Privacy**". **Step 3**: Choose "**Change password**". **Step 4**: In the Change password screen, fill in the required information. Once done, click "Change password". Make sure your password is securely stored. **Only you **know your password; we cannot help you recover it if you lose it. **Step 5**: After resetting the password, you will be unlogged and will need to log in with a new password # Forgot master password \*\*Step 1: \*\*In lock screen click “Forgot password?“ button. \*\*Step 2: \*\*Please read and agree to the terms carefully before resetting the extension. # Lock & unlock wallet Ensuring your assets are secure when not in use and instantly accessible when needed. ### **Lock your wallet** **Step 1**: Open the Nintondo Wallet extension and click the gear (settings) button. **Step 2**: Under “Settings” you will see a “Lock” button, click it to lock your wallet. ### **Unlock your wallet** If you have previously locked the wallet or been inactive for a while, your wallet will be **locked**. To unlock the wallet, enter your master password and click "**Unlock**". # Account security Your security is our priority. The articles in this section: # Transfer Bells/Doge **Step 1: **Open your Nintondo wallet and click the "Send" button. **Step 2: **Enter amount and receiver address manual or use [address book](https://docs.nintondo.io/docs/nintondo-services/nintondo-wallet-extension/receive-transfer-assets/address-book), and click **“Continue”** button. **Step 3: **Carefully verify the information you have entered and click **“Confirm” **to confirm the transaction request. **Step 4: **Your transaction has been submitted. ### Transaction details After the transfer, you can view information about your transaction in the history on the main wallet screen. In a transaction, you can view the details in “Details” or open the transaction in Explorer. # Address Book There are two ways to add an address to the address book: * When you send funds from your wallet ([open](https://docs.nintondo.io/docs/nintondo-services/nintondo-wallet-extension/receive-transfer-assets/transfer-bellsdoge)) * Manually ### Manually adding an address from a book **Step 1**: Open the Nintondo Wallet extension and click the gear (settings) button. Step 2: Click **“Address Book“** button. Step 3: Click on the **"Plus"** button in the upper-right corner. Step 4: Enter Label and Address and click “Add“ button. Now you can use this address when sending your assets, as well as edit it at any time. # Receive tokens & inscription All you need is your wallet address. You will need to show the wallet address to the sender and they will be able to send their assets to that address. To get the wallet address, follow the instructions below. **Step 1: **Click the “Receive” button on the home screen. **Step 2: **Get your address. You can copy the QR code picture by clicking on it or click on the “copy” icon to copy your wallet address. This instruction works for getting tokens, inscriptions, runes in the available networks of our wallet. # Mint transfer Mint transfers are required to be able to sell and send your tokens to other users on the network. ### Minting from Nintondo Wallet **Step 1: **Open your Nintondo wallet and click the "My assets" button. **Step 2: **Click “Tokens“ button. On this page you can see the list of your tokens and their balances. **Step 3: **Select the desired token and click on it. **Step 4: **Click “Mint“ button. **Step 5: **Enter amount to mint and click “Continue“ button. Transfers do not appear immediately, usually it happens within a minute. For a successful mint transfer, there must be enough funds on the balance sheet to pay the fees. # Send tokens To sell a transfer it has to be minted. More information about mint below. ### Sending from Nintondo Wallet **Step 1: **Open your Nintondo wallet and click the **"My assets"** button. **Step 2: **Click “Tokens“ button.. **Step 3: **Select the desired token and click on it. **Step 4: **Click “Send“ button. **Step 5: **Enter valid address and select transfers. **Step 6:** Check and** **Click “Confirm“ button. For a successful send transfer, there must be enough funds on the balance sheet to pay the fees. On the success screen, you can view the transaction in Explorer # Tokens The articles in this section: # Transfer inscription **Step 1: **Open your Nintondo wallet and click the **"My assets"** button. **Step 2: **Click “Inscriptions“ button. **Step 3:** Select the desired collection/list. **Step 4**: In the selected inscription, scroll down the page to see the details and click **"Send".** **Step 5**: Enter recipient's address and click “Continue”. **Step 6: **Carefully verify the information you have entered and click “Confirm” to confirm the transaction request. **Step 7: **Your transaction has been submitted. ### Transaction details After the transfer, you can view information about your transaction in the history on the main wallet screen. In a transaction, you can view the details in “Deteils” or open the transaction in Explorer. # Manage collections **Step 1: **Open your Nintondo wallet and click the **"My assets"** button. **Step 2: **Click “Inscriptions“ button. **Step 3: **Click “Manage“ button. **Step 4: **Use the switch to customize the display of the list of collections as you like. # Receive & transfer assets Managing your assets in your wallet. Your accounts are derived from your Secret Recovery Phrase. * Your private keys are encrypted on your device by your password and are never shared with anyone. * Nintondo Wallet doesn't track any personal identifiable information, your account addresses, or asset balances. * Users can import accounts from single private keys. These accounts are not derived from your Secret Recovery Phrase. # Nintondo Wallet - Web Wallet A web wallet is a convenient and simple alternative to an extension. This wallet is ideal if you use Nintondo on a mobile device, as well as if you do not need functions for managing inscriptions or tokens through the wallet and are accustomed to doing so through the website. ## Getting started ### Step 1: Wallet setup.
